Individualized ABA Therapy for Summit Families

For more than 12 years, Hand Over Hand has provided individualized ABA therapy through a unique model that combines dedicated treatment spaces with an integrated preschool environment. Our team takes the time to get to know your child, understand where challenges occur, and identify skills that could make everyday experiences easier.

Children receive therapy in a dedicated classroom while also having opportunities to learn alongside peers. This setting allows them to become more comfortable with classroom routines and group participation.

Before ABA therapy begins, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) meets with your family and completes a comprehensive assessment and develops a personalized treatment plan. Therapy combines individualized instruction with everyday preschool experiences. Throughout the day, children have opportunities to practice new skills during play and classroom activities, with the level of guidance adjusted to their needs and abilities.

Families choosing Hand Over Hand for ABA therapy in Summit can expect:

  • Care Based on an Assessment — Treatment recommendations reflect your child’s current abilities, strengths, and areas where additional help can be useful.
  • Practical Skill Building — Therapy can address communication, play, transitions, self-care, safety, social participation, and independence.
  • BCBA Oversight — A Board Certified Behavior Analyst develops the treatment program, reviews progress, and supervises the clinical team.
  • Several Service Options — Care can take place at home, in daycare, at school, or through a nearby center-based program.
  • Teaching That Reflects Your Child — Treatments can be individualized based on your child’s likes and dislikes, ways of communicating, and comfort level.
  • Family Participation — The parents/caregivers are always part of the discussions regarding important issues and techniques outside therapy.
