Get To Know Hand Over Hand
Hand Over Hand was co-founded in 2014 by Susan Marcovsky, a mother, and Nicole Bednarski, the clinician who provided therapy to Susan’s child with autism. Together, Susan and Nicole set out to create a better model for ABA – a place with high clinical quality and an intimate understanding of what families with autism need and deserve.
Since then, Hand over Hand has helped thousands of children achieve their potential and build a foundation of skills that they carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Together, they experienced the value of combining clinical expertise with a parent’s perspective and recognized the power of a simple belief: children thrive when the right care happens at the right time.
Regularly referred by hospitals and medical professionals alike, families trust our dedicated team because we combine clinical excellence with genuine care. We know that beginning therapy can be overwhelming, and we’re here to provide clarity, guidance, and support from the very first conversation.
Why Hand Over Hand?
Where Personal Experience Meets Professional Expertise
At Hand Over Hand, our approach is shaped by both professional expertise and lived experience. By listening to families, learning from parents, and drawing on years of clinical knowledge, we’ve built a model that recognizes every child is unique.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, we create individualized programs tailored to each child’s strengths, goals, and needs. Those programs are delivered by highly trained, carefully selected professionals who are committed to helping children grow, connect, and thrive.
Families often tell us they feel seen and understood, which is exactly our intention.
