How ABA Therapy Builds Social Skills in Young Children
ABA therapy can help young children build social skills through guided practice, positive reinforcement, and everyday interactions with others. Social interaction comes easily to some
Families in Raritan, NJ can access individualized ABA therapy at one of our two Hand Over Hand locations in Branchburg. Our clinical team takes time to get to know each child, including what they enjoy, how they communicate and where they may need additional support. We also listen to parents and caregivers so treatment reflects what matters to their family.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and oversees each child’s treatment plan. Children work on skills through activities suited to their needs, with opportunities to practice what they are learning in their school setting. As children make progress, the BCBA reviews their goals and adjusts treatment to support their continued development.
