Quality Intervention is the Key to Success

The Hand Over Hand team provides services for families in the NJ area. Their expertise in autism, child development, language acquisition, and IEP review provides Hand Over Hand with a well-rounded approach to therapeutic services.

Nicole Bednarski and Susan Marcovsky first became acquainted in a public school-based setting—which evolved into Nicole working with Susan and her family in both the home and community. Through this collaboration, they recognized the value of a therapeutic agency, which integrates both parental and professional viewpoints.

Hand Over Hand believes that quality intervention is the key to success and meaningful growth for the children with whom we service. Our unique program offers a full array of both home and center-based services including fully supported inclusion within a traditional preschool class, as well as self-contained classrooms.

Hand Over Hand was founded with the idea that these perspectives go “hand in hand”. Our advantage is this combination of 360-degree vision, top-quality services, and multi-faceted perspective.

Nicole Bednarski

Nicole Bednarski is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University. She has worked in public and private school settings, both as a teacher and a district behavior analyst. Nicole identifies with every aspect of working with children from her extensive experience as a therapist, coordinator, and supervisor. From early intervention to adulthood, Nicole works with children and young adults of all ages and skill levels and provides training to their families.

Susan Marcovsky

Susan Marcovsky earned her BA in psychology from the University of Maryland. Through Susan’s personal journey and experience, she recognizes the challenges and rewards of raising a child with special needs. She understands first-hand the evolving needs of families coping with disabilities and that identifying high-quality resources is the first step to making meaningful progress. Susan’s services help clarify the complex, often overwhelming array of available doctors, schools, services, and home programs, identifying the best course of action for each individual family.
