Center for Therapy and Inclusion™

Hand Over Hand provides individualized programming to meet your child’s academic, behavioral, and social goals. Our center-based facilities are incorporated within the nurturing settings of the Little Learner Academy, Old York SchoolKids Interactive Day School, Big Hugs Childcare Center, Little Hugs, and Little Learners preschools. Our program is designed to systematically teach children according to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). What makes our program unique is that we offer a full array of center-based services from fully supported inclusion within a traditional preschool class to self-contained classrooms. Our center hours are flexible so that we are able to accommodate varied schedules.

Full or Partial Inclusion Pre-School and Kindergarten

Individualized programs and services are created so that goals are attainable and progress is measurable. We are passionate about developing a program so that each child meets his or her potential. Typical peers from our partner preschools are accessible for smaller group activities within the self-contained setting for the mutual benefit of all of the children involved. Both pre-school and primary classes are offered.

Social Skills

Social skills development is crucial to long term emotional health. Groups are established by age and current skill level. Integrated social skills groups are also available. Please contact us for current availability and class schedules.

BCBA Supervision

For graduate students seeking certification hours toward his or her BCBA, our centers are an approved Practicum Training Site for the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), Pepperdine, Purdue Global, and Seton Hall University.

Extracurricular Activities

Classes are offered both during and after school and may include yoga, dance, computers, and stretching/nutrition. Both special needs classes and supported traditional classes are available. Please contact us for current class schedules.

Related Services

Supplemental services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, are available at our centers. In accordance with an IEP or 504, related services may be provided and should be discussed directly with each child’s case manager.
